Memories

Who knows what the future will bring, maybe knocking down another wall! Thanks for the last 30 years, and here’s to the next!!

The Beginning

The idea for a seasonal gift store began with mother-daughter duo Sue Epp and Cathy Hergenreder, who established themselves as a Country & Victorian gift store, handcrafting all of their merchandise. Creating custom orders and accommodating customers with specifically coordinated florals and hand-painted pieces proved to fill a unique niche.

Our Past

Memories also sold pieces on consignment from local crafters. As the business grew, more retail space was needed, walls were knocked down, and Memories expanded its selection with merchandise from national gift markets. Today, Memories employs three full-time and three part-time staff members. Annual special events such as the Sidewalk Sale, Fall Ladies Night Out, and Holiday Open House have become local favorites.

The Future

Marketing has changed dramatically since 1986. Our website, Memories in Pratt, along with our Facebook page, email marketing, TV, radio, and print advertising, all play a part in reaching our customers. Throughout the years, colors have changed and trends have come and gone, but some things remain the same. Customers still come first, and planning, buying, creating, displaying, laughing, caring, and smiling remain an important part of Memories.
